Alicia Visser
Sleep disorder treatment Perth
Alicia is a Clinical Psychologist with over 17 years of experience supporting adults with sleep difficulties across a wide range of settings, including Defence, first responders, the resource sector, and the general community. Throughout her career, sleep has been a core focus and passion, recognising its powerful influence on mental health, performance, and overall wellbeing.
Alicia has worked extensively with clients experiencing insomnia, circadian rhythm disruptions, shift-work challenges, and sleep disturbance linked to stress, burnout, trauma, or anxiety. She helps clients understand the patterns that maintain poor sleep, rebuild healthy practices, and restore confidence in their natural ability to sleep well.
Her approach is warm, practical, and grounded in evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and transdiagnostic approaches, and informed by her broader expertise in trauma, stress, emotional wellbeing, and resilience. Alicia aims to create a collaborative space where clients feel supported to make changes that lead to consistent, restorative sleep long after therapy ends.
Alicia holds a Master of Psychology (Clinical) and is endorsed as a Clinical Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
