Main areas of practice
Treating sleep difficulties can have such a positive impact on our health and life. I enjoy working collaboratively with adolescents and adults to address a variety of sleep difficulties. The main treatment I use is Cognitive Behaviour Therapy-Insomnia, CBT-I which can assist with:
- Insomnia
- Establishing healthy sleep routines (sleep hygiene)
- Relaxation skills
- Stress management (feeling burnt out)
- Fatigue management
- Anxiety that can intefere with sleep (overthinking, tension, panic)
- Pain that can intefere with sleep
I completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology at The University of Western Australia and a Masters in Clinical Psychology at James Cook University in Townsville. I enjoy working at Sleep Matters assisting clients with their sleep health.
