BSocSc(Hons) MPsych (Clinical)Jay sees adults in West Perth and Como

Many people come to Sleep Matters feeling exhausted, frustrated by ongoing sleep difficulties, or are caught in a cycle of worry about not sleeping well. As a Clinical Psychologist Registrar, I work with adults (18+) to support individuals in understanding and improving their sleep and its impact on mental health, physical wellbeing, and day-to-day functioning. My approach is evidence-based, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs.
At Sleep Matters, I work with a range of sleep concerns including insomnia, difficulty falling or staying asleep, early morning awakenings, unhelpful sleep habits, sleep-related anxiety, and tension at night. I also help when sleep is disrupted by stress, burnout, anxiety, low mood, chronic pain, perfectionism, or life transitions. Where appropriate, I integrate sleep treatment with evidence-based therapy for co-occurring mental health conditions.
My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy. You’ll find my style compassionate, non-judgemental, and structured, with an emphasis on through assessment, collaboration, and practical skill-building aligned with your goals.
I hold a Master of Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) in Psychology. Originally from Singapore, I bring cultural sensitivity to my work with diverse clients and offer sessions in both English and Mandarin.
