BA (Hons) DPsych (Clinical)Olivia sees adolescents (15+) and adults in West Perth
Olivia completed her postgraduate training in Clinical Psychology at The University of Western Australia in 2015 and has enjoyed working with a diverse group of clients since this time, delivering both individual and group interventions for clients from older adolescents through to older adulthood with a wide range of issues. For the past several years Olivia has been working part time in private practice (Sleep Matters) alongside her longstanding role at a health department outpatient clinical psychology service.
As well as exemplary training and experience, Olivia brings with her a warm and professional manner and a strong desire to assist her clients in their journey towards improved sleep, fatigue and wellbeing. Olivia is confident in working with a wide range of sleep difficulties including insomnia, hypersomnia, shift-work related problems, circadian rhythm disorders, and sleep difficulties with co-existing low mood, anxiety, and stress. Olivia works to help her clients to better understand their sleep patterns, manage their over-active minds, engage in routines that assist sleep, and address beliefs about sleep that may exacerbate insomnia.
Olivia is dedicated to delivering effective, evidence-based therapies that have been well-researched, and is conscious of balancing treatment protocols with the individual needs of each client she sees. She continues to be actively involved in research and serves on a number of professional committees in the field of psychology.
