Reon Boyd
Clinical Psychologist Registrar
Reon sees adults and teens (age 15+) in West Perth and Como

Do you ever find yourself lying awake at night, unable to switch off and sleep even though you’re exhausted? Or, do you struggle to drag yourself out of bed in the morning because you’re feeling unrefreshed? Perhaps stress, worry, or low mood are keeping you awake— or your teenager seems constantly tired, staying up late and sleeping in on weekends.
If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone. Sleep difficulties such as insomnia, delayed sleep phase, and sleep disturbed by stress or anxiety are common, but they can usually be effectively treated.
I’m Reon, a Clinical Psychologist Registrar, and I work with teenagers (15+) and adults to help them understand what’s disrupting their sleep and develop strategies for lasting improvement. My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative — I aim to help you rebuild confidence in your ability to sleep well and feel calm, alert, and balanced again.
I use evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to address the habits, thoughts, and emotions that affect sleep. Alongside sleep, I also work with stress, anxiety, and low mood, which often interact with sleep difficulties.
My goal is to help you move from exhaustion and frustration to restful nights and more energised days, with tools you can use long after therapy ends.
