Siobhan works with children, teens and adults
I enjoy and working with children, adolescents and adults to help them resolve their sleep difficulties.
I work with child, adult and teen clients experiencing Insomnia, circadian rhythm disorders (where sleep is mis-timed), nightmare disorder, and hypersomnia. I also see children with nighttime fears and behavioural issues around bedtime.
I work with kindness, compassion, curiosity and empathy. As part of the therapy process I like to use a range of evidence based approaches to help facilitate positive change. Some of these therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy-Insomnia (this is the recommended first line treatment for Insomnia), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
As I'm a Clinical Psychologist, if needed, I can also assist with stress, anxiety, and low mood that often occurs alongside sleep problems.
A bit about me - my hobbies and interests include Buddhism, yoga, gardening and keeping busy with a menagerie including small children, fur-kids and chooks.
