I am passionate about sleep and strongly believe in the relationship between physical and psychological health. I love working with people to improve their sleep and seeing the ripple effects on how this also improves their wellbeing and quality of life. I work with children, adults and teens.

Regarding my experience and qualifications, I received my Master of Clinical Psychology at The University of Western Australia. I have worked in both the public and private sectors including with individuals in private clinics, individuals dealing with health concerns in hospital, and in acute inpatient psychiatric settings.

Prior to becoming a psychologist, I worked in the field of sleep medicine as a sleep scientist and technician for 7 years. I have conducted sleep research in conjunction with The University of Western Australia and I am a published author in this field. I have also worked in sleep clinics and hospitals, with both children and adults.

Additionally, I developed and presented group workshops including an inpatient group workshop for adolescents with sleep difficulties and fatigue management workshop for FIFO workers. Through this experience I developed an expertise in working with people experiencing sleep difficulties and enjoy combining this with my psychology practise.

I work with individuals experiencing:

  • Insomnia
  • Difficulties shutting off at night due to anxiety or stress
  • Daytime fatigue
  • Sleep difficulties and depression
  • Sleep difficulties due to chronic pain
  • Difficulties adjusting to shift-work
  • Circadian Rhythm Disorders, including teenage shifts in the body clock (e.g., teenagers who are night owls)
  • Recurrent nightmares
  • Childhood worries, fears and behaviours that interfere with sleep

I like to create a warm and supportive space where we can work collaboratively towards your goals. I view my clients as a whole and not simply the challenges that they are currently facing. I am also passionate about providing trauma-informed care and creating a safe space for individuals who have experienced trauma. I have experience working cross-culturally and across the lifespan, and I am LGBTQIA+ affirmative.
