Come to our free public lecture for evidence-based information about sleep and Insomnia. Saturday November 19th at 1.30pm. Hollywood Hospital Lecture theatre, Nedlands. The talk will be presented by Dr Melissa Ree from Sleep Matters and will dispel common myths about sleep and outline the most effective long term Insomnia treatment. Information will be given on different ways to access treatment for sleep problems.
Dr Melissa Ree has worked in the field of Insomnia research and treatment for 14 years. Since completing her PhD, she has worked on clinical trials of Insomnia treatment in Oxford and Perth in the general adult population, the elderly, and those with severe mental illness. Currently, in addition to working clinically at Sleep Matters, Melissa is involved in supervision of postgraduate students, and ongoing university-based research programs aimed at improving insomnia treatments.
